Windows 10 build 16299.15 (RTM) is now rolling out for fast ring insider members. The new Windows 10 Fall Creators Update RTM build comes with bug fixes and minor improvements over the previous build 16299. However, there is no official changelog from the Windows Insider team.
Today, Dona Sarkar (Insider team head) confirms that they will now start testing out servicing this build with the Cumulative Updates via Windows Update. That means, this build is the final Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for PCs. The past two Xbox One builds in the Alpha ring have also been build 16299, so they’re aligning across the board.
Previously, the build 16299 was released to fix multiple issues including an issue where some Insiders were experiencing where after upgrading to recent flights their optical drive wouldn’t be listed under This PC. The new build has also addressed an issue where Microsoft Edge might crash when scrolling embedded PDFs.
