Xbox One alpha build 16299.3033 (rs3_release_xbox_dev_1710.171018-1900) now rolling out for Insider members. The latest build includes a big list of bug fixes and improvements. The latest alpha build has fixed an issue which sometimes caused sections of Games & Apps to appear blank. Also, unexpectedly Games & Apps crashing issues is now resolved.
In addition, the new build has resolved an issue which sometimes prevented users from joining matchmaking sessions which were previously at maximum capacity. Check out more details below.

- Resolved an issue which sometimes caused the console to fail to play HDR content (when it could previously) after resuming from connected standby.

- Fixed an issue which caused certain screenshots shared to OneDrive to not be visible on all platforms.
Friends In Games
- Resolved an issue which caused the Friends In Games page to appear blank when playing Xbox 360 backward compatible games.
Notifications
- Fixed an issue which sometimes prevented a notification from popping when a new user joins a party.
LFG
- Hosts should now properly see custom messages provided by applicants who apply to join the LFG.
Cortana
- Resolved an issue which sometimes prevented Cortana from recognizing all voice commands.
Ease of Access
- Resolved an issue which caused closed captioning and subtitles to fail to display in certain apps.
Microsoft Edge
- Fixed an issue which could cause Microsoft Edge to crash in certain scenarios.
System Update
- Fixed an issue which sometimes caused system update installations to stall and fail to complete.
Guide
- Resolved an issue which sometimes prevented Guide from launching following sign in.
Skype
- Fixed an issue which prevented Skype from connecting a call made shortly after terminating a previous call.
KNOWN ISSUES:
Tournaments
- The left and right navigation for selecting date and time during Tournament creation is currently reversed when the console language is set to Arabic or Hebrew.
- Left and right navigation in Tournament twists is reversed when the console language is set to Arabic or Hebrew.
- Left and right navigation in the bracket view of Tournaments is reversed when the console language is set to Arabic or Hebrew.
Netflix
- When using Hebrew language, Netflix fails to launch. A fix for this issue will be available soon.
Avatars on Home
- Users wishing to represent themselves as an avatar can do so by changing their settings under My profile > Customize profile > Show my avatar.
Note that not all planned features for this update are available at this time. If you’re on the Xbox Preview Alpha ring, you can check for the latest Xbox One Insider build 16299.3033 (rs3_release_xbox_dev_1710.171018-1900) by going to Settings -> System -> Updates.
Also, If your console is in Instant-On mode and you have been selected to receive the update, it will download and install the update and reboot to standby.
