Black Mesa update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Black Mesa patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Black Mesa patch will fix a few of these issues.

Black Mesa Patch Notes – May 20, 2025
- Resolved IVP related crashes in the “Office Complex” chapter when resuming from a save file. This fix potentially safeguards other chapters from having similar crashes.
- Potentially fixed cases of Alt+Tab related crashes.
