Asus VivoBook W202 laptop is now available for $279. The new laptop comes with recently announced Windows 10 S and it’s a relatively cheap laptop meant to be used in schools.
The laptop is powered by 1.1GHz Intel Celeron N3350 processor and you will get 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 0.3-megapixel webcam. There’s an 11.6-inch display with a 1366 x 768 resolution and the screen can fold back 180 degrees.
There’s an HDMI port, an SD card slot, a headphone jack, two USB 3.0 ports, and support for a lock. You will get 11 hours of battery life with this new ASUS laptop.
The laptop is also made with a rugged design and is supposed to be able to survive twists, crushing, and drops. Asus VivoBook W202 laptop also has a water-resistant keyboard.
Asus announced back in May that it would be making a cheap educational laptop running the new Windows 10 S which only supports apps from the Windows Store.
Next month, Asus plans to launch a slightly more expensive version of the W202, running Windows 10 Home, for $299. Check out more devices at Microsoft Store here.
