Levi’s commuter jacket powered by Google Jacquard coming to market next year. Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) developed Google Jacquard. With the help of Google Jacquard, the researchers can make interactive fabric surface. The new smart jacket gives the user access to maps, music, and calls.

To control these functions, the users need to tap or swipe on the smart jacket’s cuff. Jacquard tag is removable and rechargeable through USB. It’s washing-machine friendly. The Levi’s commuter jacket can also connect to the cloud. Smart Jacket also comes with a mobile app.
Google going to collaborate with other clothing makers too. Levi’s commuter jacket will come in spring 2017, pricing is not disclosed yet. The company also launched Google Home a WiFi speaker with Google assistant at I/O 2016.
