Nvidia GTX 1080, 1070 and GTX 1060 for Notebooks announced

NVIDIA has launched GTX 1080, 1070 and GTX 1060 graphic cards for laptops. The GTX 1080 on a notebook will offer nearly 90% performance versus desktop counterpart. This makes 1080 on laptops twice as fast as desktop GTX 980. The latest graphic cards are also VR gaming ready.

Nvidia notebook 1080 graphic card coming with a core clock of 1556MHz. NVIDIA is also allowing its partners to factory overclock its mobile cards. Newly launched cards will also allow 120Hz refresh rate and QHD screens in laptops. NVIDIA claiming that the technology will double playing time on a notebook by lowering quality settings automatically, that will increase battery backup.
