A new video posted on youtube showing upcoming game DOOM at 200FPS on Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080. Recently, Nvidia announced most powerful GPU the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. At the event id Software developers also demonstrated DOOM game running on the ultra-powerful graphics card.
This video shot by PC Gamer for demonstration. DOOM was running using the Vulkan API(low-level OpenGL API). As you can see in the video, DOOM runs at 1080p/60FPS with V-Sync enabled. Once V-Sync disabled, frame rate jumps to 120-200FPS at 1080p.
Doom is scheduled to launch on May 13 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 3/4. Nvidia GTX 1080 is coming in June at $600.
