Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.13 released with fixes

Gran Turismo Sport 1.13 update is now available for download on PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, the official Gran Turismo Sport update 1.13 changelog is now available yet. However, the players are reporting that the new GT Sport update includes minor changes and improvements. We will update the article as soon as official Gran Turismo Sport version 1.12 changelog go online.

Currently, game servers are down for maintenance. The maintenance will end at 22:00 PST.

1. Campaign Mode
– The following events have been added to the “GT League”:

3. Tracks
– The following 4 layouts for the “Blue Moon Bay Speedway” track have been added:

4. Scapes
– “Snow” has been added to the special featured section.

5. Brand Central
– Additional Scapes spots have been added to Volkswagen.

6. Livery Editor
– When editing a vehicle with an existing livery such as a race car, the existing livery will no longer be removed until you start editing the paint, decals, or racing items. (When only the design of the wheels is changed, the original decals will be maintained);
– Added “Exposure Adjustment” to the livery editor options;
– The lowest value limit for the brightness of Black paint has been lowered.

7. Discover
– Added a [Recommended] page;
– Notification of users who liked or reposted your content will be displayed;
– You can now preview the liveries of cars within the car livery.

8. My Library
– It is now possible to preview the liveries of cars in the car livery section.

9. Race Photo
– The target car name is now displayed in the panning shot settings.

10. Sport Mode
– The Sportsmanship Rating (SR) and penalty judgement algorithms have been improved;
– In a collision between two cars, a penalty will now be added to the Driver Rating (DR) as well as incurring a Time Penalty depending on the situation;
– If a driver continues to drive without complying with a certain amount of Time Penalty, additional time penalties will be added. (The additional penalty depends on the DR);
– A driver may now be disqualified from a race if the number of collisions and shortcuts they accumulate becomes too great;
– Cars over a lap behind will now be ghosted and will not be subject to collisions. (Only enabled in Sport mode);
– It is now possible to submit grief reports for misconduct of other users.

11. Physics Simulation Model
– The active brake controls for the 4 wheel drive system (S-AWC) used in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition ’15 has been adjusted.

12. Notifications
– Followers’ notifications will now be displayed in the notifications list of [My Menu].

Other Improvements and Adjustments

– It is now possible to display/hide layers while editing decals with the Livery Editor;
– A gallery has been added to the detailed user information page in Discover;
– Some of the Sport mode penalties will also apply to Lobby races;
– Various other issues have been addressed.

  • Addressed an issue wherein the game became unplayable if the cancel button was pressed before a ‘Search’ result was displayed on [Discover].
  • Addressed an issue wherein switching to a car with custom livery from [Home ] > [Garage] resulted in the “Loading” screen being continuously displayed;

Gran Turismo Sport 1.10 Update adds Single Player Mode

Gran Turismo Sport 1.10 update is now available for download on PlayStation 4. Gran Turismo Sport update 1.10 comes with new features and improvements. A new single player mode, the “GT League”, is now added to the game. The new single player game mode including several series of races that appeared in the past GT game titles. In addition, Gran Turismo Sport version 1.10 also includes various bug fixes and improvements.

Gran Turismo Sport 1.10 Patch Notes

Note – The patch notes for both updates 1.09 and 1.10 are included.

A new single-player mode, the “GT League”, now added to the game. This is a single player game mode including several series of races that appeared in the past GT game titles, including fan favorites such as the “Sunday Cup”, ”Clubman Cup”, ”FF Challenge”, etc., in which players can participate with a wide variety of cars that can be tuned.

5. Brand Central
– We have added the “Lewis Hamilton Reference Laps #1 – Nürburgring” to the ‘Lewis Hamilton’ section of Brand Central;
– A museum section has been added to Chevrolet.
– Special Scapes scenes have been added to Bugatti.

6. Top 24 Superstars
– In the FIA Championships within Sport mode, a ‘Top 24 Superstars’ race will be held as the final round of each race season. This will be a single race within the final round, where only one group will be matched among the top drivers. In this race you will earn more points than a standard race.

7. Lobby
– Added a new [Settings] section under [Event Settings] -> [Regulation Settings].

8. Physics Simulation Model
– Traction control while turning has been adjusted to allow smoother cornering.

9. Controller
– The DUALSHOCK®4 motion sensor steering sensitivity has been adjusted so that steering requires less rotation.

10. Buttons Assignment
– It is now possible to set throttle and brakes in the buttons assignments of the wireless and steering controllers. The settings can be changed from [Options] -> [Controller];
– Fixed an issue where the operation of the left/right stick on the T-GT steering controller was affected by the wireless controller assignment settings.

11. Sound
– Tires screeching sounds have been adjusted;
– The sound balance of the Chaparral Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo has been adjusted.

12. Additional Language
– Thai language support has been added to the Asian version.

Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.08 fixes and changes details

A Gran Turismo Sport update 1.08 will soon roll out on PlayStation 4. According to the official Gran Turismo Sport 1.08 patch notes, this update will fix an issue where old records before the previous update are still listed in the Friend Rankings of the Campaign Mode. Also, it is possible to continue to play the Campaign Mode, but the records will be deleted at the time of the update.

Gran Turismo Sport 1.06 Update comes with New Cars – Patch Notes

Gran Turismo Sport 1.06 patch is now rolling out on PS4. The latest Gran Turismo Sport update 1.06 comes with free DLC which includes three new cars IsoRivolta Zagato, Audi R18, and Shelby Cobra 427 (N500). In addition, the game also includes bug fixes and other improvements.   • Physics Simulation Model
    – A part of the physics simulation model was improved, especially improving controllability of stock commercial models which exhibit less grip on the road.
    – Control management of the ‘standard’ ABS settings was improved, raising drivability under braking conditions.
    – Control management of rear wheel drive cars withTCS settings set higher than ‘2’ was improved, raising stability at corner exits.
  • Campaign Mode
    – It is now possible to play the campaign modewhile offline.
    – In line with the improvements in the physicssimulation model, the difficulty level of the Driving School and MissionChallenge were adjusted.
    – In line with the adjustment of the difficultylevels, the ranking boards of the Driving School, Mission Challenge, andCircuit Experience were reset. (*There is no effect to game progress and theGold/Silver/Bronze status of players from before the ranking reset)
  • Livery Editor
    – It is now possible to use the Livery Editor while offline.
    – It is now possible to create and edit Liveries of cars without having to set the car to be edited as the currently selected car.
    – It is now possible to apply car liveries to cars loaned in the Manufacturer’s Series. (*It is now possible to enter races in the manufacturer’s Series with custom car liveries applied. )
  • Museum
    – A Museum has been added to Bugatti in Brand Central.
  • Race Screen
    – There is now a warning indicator when the remaining fuel becomes low.
  • Sound
    – It is now possible to adjust the balance of sound effects during gameplay. The adjustment can be made in[Options] -> [Sound Volume].
  • Scapes
    – It is now possible to play with the Scapes feature while offline.
    – “Autumn Leaves” has been added to the featured collection.
    In line with this, a few new Photo Spots have been added.
  • Sports Mode
    – It is now possible to download and playback the replays of top ranking drivers in the Daily Race Qualifying TimeAttack Rankings.
    – An antenna display now indicates the connection status/quality in the member lists.
    – The judgment algorithm of the sportsmanship Rating (SR) has been improved. In the screen indications, it is also now possible to see the reductions in the SR of not only yourself but of other drivers involved in a contact incident with your car.
  • Sports Mode / Lobby
    – It is now possible to select a preset chat text when entering text chat.
    – You can now set an automatic greetings message for when you enter a lobby. The settings for this greetings text can be performed in [My Menu] -> [Profile Settings]. (*Up to 40characters)

  • [BGM Playlist] has been added to [Options] > [Sound Settings]. When set to [Broadcast Mode], the BGM played during broadcasting will automatically change to a suited track (Race BGM will be turned off). This can be used to upload recorded videos on video-sharing service platforms;
  • With Gran Turismo Sport patch 1.05, the steering wheel controller’s force feedback has been adjusted to strengthen the rise of torque near neutral position and suppress vibration on kerbstones.

Other improvements and adjustments in Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.05

  • The handling when using the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller has been improved – While broadcasting a gameplay session, the BGM will automatically switch to a track suited for broadcasting (Race BGM will be turned off).
  • The number items displayed in the Mileage Exchange for Wheels and Special Colours has been increased to a maximum of 16 items.
  • Gran Turismo Sport patch 1.05 has fixed an issue where when purchasing a wheel in the Mileage Exchange, a list of applicable vehicles will now be displayed.
  • The buttons assigned to the ‘Refresh List’ and ‘Room Details’ actions in the Room Selection screen of the Lobby have been swapped around with Gran Turismo Sport version 1.05.
  • An ‘Online Server Status’ and ‘Maintenance and Error Information’ areas will now be displayed on the Top Screen.
  • Gran Turismo Sport update 1.05 has fixed various other issues.

Main Features

  • Fixed an issue where participating in a Drift Trial with a car featuring an exterior livery created with a custom color chip (a color chip created in the Livery editor) would result in the game crashing after the result screen.
  • Fixed an issue where excessive force feedback was applied when understeering using the THRUSTMASTER® T500RS steering controller.
  • Gran Turismo Sport update 1.03 addressed an issue wherein the THRUSTMASTER® TH8A ‘H pattern shifter’ was not properly recognized when connected to a compatible steering wheel controller.

Other improvements and adjustments

  • With Gran Turismo Sport version 1.03, the controller steering sensitivity of the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller has been increased in order to improve handling during oversteering and drifting.
  • The adjustment range for a steering wheel controller’s force feedback has been broadened: it is now possible to decrease maximum torque on steering wheels with strong motor torque.
  • Gran Turismo Sport update 1.03 addressed Various other issues.

Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.02 released – Full Patch Notes

Gran Turismo Sport update 1.02 is now available for download. This day one patch is around 12GB in size. Accroding to the Gran Turismo Sport patch notes, all car data is updated in order to support rain conditions. Update: Polyphony Digital is planning to provide more online features for Gran Turismo Sport. These online features include ‘My Profile’, ‘Activity Feed’ and ‘Discover’, as well as ‘Decal Uploader’, which allows you to upload decals made by users to be used within Gran Turismo Sport ‘Livery Editor’. According to the game developers, in order to maintain a good gaming experience by alleviating extreme server loads immediately after the start of the service, they are planning to release these online features gradually.

Gran Turismo Sport’s Scapes Additional Content Pack (free) which adds photo spots to the ‘Scapes’ photography feature will begin to roll out in Asia and North American Region on Oct. 17. This free pack will be available in European Oct. 18.

Additionally, for customers who have pre-ordered the game and downloaded it through the automatic download, may take additional time.

KNOWN ISSUES

Gamesave
  • When the save button is pressed to save, there are cases in which the transmission to the server fails.
  • This can be alleviated by playing the game for approximately 15 minutes after starting the game.
When the email address is repeatedly deleted, the game stops.
  • In “Email address” of “Options,” if the “Delete Email address” action is repeated, the game comes to a stop.
The game freezes when participating in a drift trial using a car with a custom color chip.
  • If the exterior is edited in the livery editor with a custom color chip and the player participates in a drift trial, the game freezes after displaying the results.
Steering Controller
  • There have been cases where the H Pattern shifter THRUSTMASTER TH8A is not recognized properly
  • On the Thrustmaster T500RS steering controller, we will correct the issue where there is excessive vibration when turning the steering wheel over a certain amount (causing understeer).
  • We will increase the steering speed on the standard DualShock 4 controller to improve controllability while oversteering and drifting.
