A developer has managed to play Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong and more on Microsoft HoloLens AR headset. Developer Peterson also showcases what it’s like to play Super Mario and Donkey Kong games on HoloLens.
Peterson used a custom-built NES emulator that converts two-dimensional objects to 3D and renders them in mixed reality in real time. You can download the code for his N3S emulator on GitHub.
