Bellwright update is now available to download on PC. According to the official Bellwright patch notes, the latest update addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Bellwright version will fix a few of these issues.

Bellwright Patch Notes – January 27, 2026
- Fixed sometimes not being able to initiate combat after exiting dialogue with Esc or dueling.
- Fixed various sound issues with crickets in Karvenia.
- Fixed various issues with items in containers sometimes disappearing after changing bags.
- Fixed orchard name sometimes being used for plant interactions instead of the plant name.
- Fixed bags disappearing if dropped on the ground while empty.
- Fixed music in villages sometimes not playing after narrative-related music.
- Fixed container values not updating after replenishing an arrow stack with another.
- Fixed a crash when loading a save made with mods that add new structures or other persistent object without those mods enabled.
- Fixed items sometimes disappearing from back slot when an NPC changes a gear preset and equips a two-handed weapon.
- Fixed a table disappearing after reading a book in The Sacrifice quest.
- Fixed a crash related to relocating outpost buildings to another settlement.
- Fixed construction site jobs causing stuttering on late game and modded saves.
- Fixed sometimes docking to an occupied Dockyard when returning from Halmare Isles to Karvenia.
- Fixed performance issues when opening settlement menu on late game and modded saves.
