CLICKOLDING update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official CLICKOLDING patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s CLICKOLDING patch will fix a few of these issues.

CLICKOLDING Patch Notes – July 18, 2024
- Some dialogue boxes may appear clipped, but he will no longer die early and thus should not be able to cause the post-credits softlock.
- Texture limit reduced to 2k, should increase graphical performance by ~4x
This should assist with issues regarding slowdowns and crashes during the end sequence. - Original clickold dialogue on sfx slider
- Original clickold sometimes shows blank dialogue box (on leaving during speech and then returning), but will no longer show placeholder text in it.
- Clickold will not return from the grave to tell the player not to leave via the exit door.
- Can no longer walk onto bed from end (bypassing state set)
