Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together patch will fix a few of these issues.

Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together Patch Notes – April 2, 2026
Features:
- Liquids that are not soups are no longer incorrectly labeled as soups and are now properly described
- Added regional codes to session invites (e.g. EU, US, etc.)
- Improved key binding system — inputs should now work correctly
- Added a cart item counter in the shop for better visibility
Fixes and bugs:
- Minor multiplayer improvements
- Radio can now be placed in most locations where it previously wasn’t possible
- Fixed issues with tubes (bread crumbs etc)
- Fixed blurry texture problems in players flat
- Fixed a bug where guests would arrive but not order, blocking tables
- Improved dish rating system (spices now work correctly)
- Ingredients should no longer float in the air
- fixed first-person animations for mopping
- Fixed microphone icon showing constantly on the screen even when not pressing buttons
- Fixed customers accepting orders after kitchen upgrade
- Fixed doors not opening properly after reload (NPCs can now enter correctly)
