Core Keeper update 1.0.2 is now available to download on PC. According to the official Core Keeper patch notes, the latest update 1.0.2 addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 1.0.2 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Core Keeper version 1.0.2 will fix a few of these issues.

Core Keeper Patch 1.0.2 Notes – Jan. 31, 2025
Gameplay:
- The Seasonal merchant has new Lunar New Year-themed decorative items for sale:
- Folding Screen.
- Lucky Cat.
- Potted Tree with Red Envelopes.
Performance:
- Avoid frequent memory allocations originating from Steam rich presence functions.
Bug Fixes:
- Exiting a world while using a scanner no longer results in the scanner animation being paused when re-entering the world.
- The Failed Titan (crystal cicada husk) now correctly drops the Crystal Shard Club and materials again.
- Fixed dedicated servers having a small chance to crash on errors.
PlayStation:
- Fixed PlayStation not always sending the whole map in cartography table.
