Critter Cove update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Critter Cove patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Critter Cove patch will fix a few of these issues.

Critter Cove Patch Notes – September 14, 2024
Gameplay
- Fins now provide underwater movement speed boost
- You can now Sprint underwater
- Added dialog to tourist while in clothing shop
Bug Fixes
- Fixed bug where some food ingredients were showing up as unusable in cooking (bread, cheese, etc)
- Fixed minor errors where sometimes players would say their own name instead of critters during some conversations.
UI
- Fixed a bug involving split/stacking of items in UI
