Democracy 4 update 1.53 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Democracy 4 patch notes, the latest update 1.53 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.

- Fixed bug where food shortages had a zero impact on Everyone.
- A bunch of changes to the impacts of the global economy, which were using incorrect equations.
- Added new economic cycle chart to the customise mission screen to explain it better.
- Fixed a bug that would cause random bits of Russian text to be displayed in English.
