DSX Version 3.1.6 Patch Notes – January 20, 2026

A new DSX update 3.1.6 patch notes are released for players. Since the last major update, players have been experiencing multiple issues and bugs Hopefully, today’s DSX update 3.1.6 will address some of these issues and bugs.

DSX Patch 3.1.6 Notes- January 20, 2026

• Fully updated VirtualPad Driver handling install/health/service when starting up DSX, during setup, and in settings page where you can view the current health of the driver. This fixes a known bug when trying to create a virtual DualSense that needs the updated driver installed.
• Bluetooth Audio and Haptic Feedback modes is now usable for all users with DSX+

  – Sound Waves -> BT Haptic Feedback (With Rumble to Haptics)
  – System Audio Capture -> BT Audio/Haptic Feedback
  – Audio File Playback -> BT Audio/Haptic Feedback

  – Speaker and Headphone Jack fully working with Auto switching
  – Speaker and Headphone volumes as well as beamforming for the speaker
  – Haptic Feedback Gain control to make it even stronger or weaker
  – Settings to adjust to get that low latency for your setup

  How to Access:

  Open DSX -> Navigate to (Haptics | Rumble) Page -> BT Audio/Haptics to enable.

• Fully rebuilt Joystick Advanced Deadzone with Anti-Deadzone and updated Deadzone UI
• Updated Tray icon device menu with ability to switch profiles and access them
• Improvements to Native Mode and BT Audio/Haptics
• Fixed navigating to Haptics Page restarts BT file playback
• Fixed sound devices like 7.1/THX/Spatial not working with BT Audio/Haptics
• Show warning cards if Send Data to Device is disabled in native mode
• Some improvement to Device Manger
• Some improvement to Touchpad Processing
• Fixed multiple bugs.

  – Beta build is using the same build as default branch
• Coming very soon is DSX v3.2 BETA with Fast startups, performance improvements, new input system that support double and triple presses and a new action list view that makes it easier to see which actions you have created, updated motion system, ability to create a virtual DualSense with a Sound Device to get audio and Haptic Feedback from natively supported games, and ability to run DSX without Steam for users that own DSX+ by manually launching its EXE (28 days caching system before needing to run it with steam again)
