Elin update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Elin patch notes, the latest update 23.295 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Elin patch 23.295 will fix a few of these issues.

* Traveling Merchants can now occasionally appear on the global map. Their inventory now varies by merchant type. Traveling Merchants are also now guaranteed to appear on festival maps for each season.
* A phantom killer can now rarely appear when towns are regenerated.
* It is now possible to disguise yourself as a baby. While in baby form, the dialogue option “Mommy!” will now appear in conversations with NPCs.
* You can now become a mommy when talking to baby NPCs or NPCs in a baby state.
* Added beastfolk races such as Ratkin and Ravian.
* When you have an Advanced Adventurer License, enemy levels in global map symbol encounters now scale with your fame.
* Buffed Yevan’s boon, Flames of Strife.
* Expanded and improved mod-related features, and fixed existing bugs.

[Additions and Changes]
* Set the maximum level of Yevan’s boon “Flames of Strife” to 5. Its effects have been changed to physical damage increase and physical damage cap increase. The tooltip now also shows the current effects more clearly.
* When “Flames of Strife” is level 1 or higher, its SP drain effect now gradually increases.
* When “Flames of Strife” is level 2 or higher, it can now spread to allies.
* When “Flames of Strife” is level 3 or higher, bleed resistance now gradually increases.
* Neutral NPCs can now spawn randomly on roadside outdoor maps.
* Added a cap to the potential gained from succubus play and baby play, since using baby play on NPCs such as the Garden Master could instantly max it out.
* You no longer gain experience toward potential if you die during succubus play or baby play.
* While worshipping Horome, anyone can now become your mama. Also, Horome followers no longer become a Sad Creature even if they repeat baby play.
* NPCs generated on the global map are now displayed as “???” by name (experimental, since the actual NPC is generated during the symbol encounter).
* Unique monsters and similar NPCs no longer generate randomly on the global map.
* If an NPC generated in a symbol encounter has the Baby feat, that NPC will no longer scale based on the PC’s fame level in some cases.
* Repeatedly choosing “I’m going to attack you” when talking to travel merchants now lowers karma instead of raising it.
* Slightly adjusted the Strength values of some non-playable races.
* NPCs no longer buy or sell on user maps.
* Added Cooking as a starting skill for the race “Juere.”
* Added Wolf Tail as a rare drop for NPCs of the race “Werewolf.”
* Gave the feat “Sad Creature” to the NPC “Raphael.”
* Adjusted the prices of the Keeper of the Garden’s goods.
* Added “Cloud” to the Keeper of the Garden’s stock, and changed the stock count of each item to 99.
* Added the various god colossi to the Keeper of the Garden’s stock.
* The item “Incubator” can now also be used inside tents.
* Decorative signs can now also be used inside tents, and their designs can be changed.

* It is intended that karma increases when choosing “I’m going to attack you” on traveling merchants, since it is better manners than attacking without warning.
* For phantom killers, more gimmicks and related features may be added by the next stable release.
* The skills and abilities of the newly added beastfolk races are still planned to be adjusted for a while.
