A new Fabledom update 1.03 is available here with numerous fixes, optimizations, and balancing adjustments to the game, enhancing gameplay experience and addressing various issues reported by the community. Read the official patch 1.03 notes below.
Fabledom 1.03 Patch Notes – May 22, 2024
Fixes
- Fixed marketplace and dancing stage not having flaglines and winter lights and added flag connection points
- Fixed bank not having flaglines
- Enhanced flagline generation and added flag connections to several structures, including the mall, café, embassy, bank, and clock tower
- Added flaglines to grand theatre, hospital, palace wall tower, messenger’s guild, stone gate, bakery, inn, horizontal gate and diagonal gate
- Fixed destroying buildings somehow wouldn’t destroy flaglines
- Flaglines now spawn hover longer distances (2 tiles)
- Added birds to messengers guild and musical notes to musical garden
- Fixed messengers guild not having decoration and windows
- Fixed hospital and messengers guild not tinting on hover (vomit)
- Fixed hanging cloth not moving on hospital
- Fixed maidens fountain not tinting on hover (water) and fixed its particle system not stopping on time paused
- Fixed mall placement arrows
- Updated and improved the embassy and hospital decoration respectively

- Fixed water not receiving shadows
- Fixed bob encounter trunk not being affect by cloud shadows
- Fixed horizontal palace gate not having windows material
- Fixed grass would re-spawn on stone gate and wood gate
- Fixed Ferris wheel would be pure white during winter
- Fixed harvest guild not being covered in snow during winter
- Added decoration to Windmill and forester
- Fixed bread dough on bakery would use the wrong material
- Fixed relocating would lead to flag lines not getting destroyed and spawned
- Fixed forester nets would be low quality/black and wouldn’t be visible from “inside”
- Fixed butterflies and town well particle system not stopping on time paused
- Harvest guild can now be upgraded using crops & tulips
- Build bar now closes on ESC
- Fixed UI issues with quests
- Territory button now also appears during tutorial when you reach small village
- Inhabitant overview now has red text over workplaces with no workers
- Fixed issue where autosave would save the building currently being placed
- Fixed issue where carousel UI would show wrong information
- Can no longer destroy palace with the mass destroy tool
- Fixed issue where the UI wouldn’t show mission reward if the reward was new fablings
- If you reach a small town and lose some population, you will now still be able to accept commoners
- Fixed issue where you could not start a mission with just 1 swordsman
- Fixed mission nobility rewards not being displayed everywhere
- Fixed several localization issues
- All ministry buffs now show the current bonus values
- Fixed Ferris wheel would be constructed before construction is completed
- Fixed some building parts would show as constructed before construction is completed
- Fixed prismatic liquid parts would be visible before construction completes and not using the correct construction poles mesh
- Fixed cliffs looking red
- Cobblestone roads now connect to terracota ones, and vice versa
- Fixed fog shader having noise in wrong axis
- Added support for smoke colours to change during seasons
- Added smoke to bakery, embassy, bank and hospital
- Fixed smoke on town houses
- Fixed issue where soldiers would resurrect underneath the map (fix should also bring back soldiers lost due to this in previous saves)
- Fixed issue where missions with only hero could not be started
- Fixed issue where Arena of trials could load in as not completed even if it has been
- Fixed issue where camera could not zoom in all the way randomly
- Fixed issue where group units didn’t die when they “should”
- Fixed issue where units could get attacked while on mission in some very specific scenarios.
- Fixed issue with Giovanni third date events
- Fixed issue with upgrading wooden gates
- Fixed issue with trolls not loading properly
- Saves previous to 1.0 can now court Farrah and Sir Payne
- Eric Jr can no longer spawn (until we can fix the issue with him)
- Mystic mine now behaves as intended when closing/opening

- Fixed flag lines mesh could possibly leak
- Optimized particle systems handling of pause
