Lightyear Frontier update 0.5.1648 is now available to download on PC. According to the official Lightyear Frontier patch notes, the latest update 0.5.1648 addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 0.5.1648 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Lightyear Frontier version 0.5.1648 will fix a few of these issues.

Lightyear Frontier Patch 0.5.1648 Notes – July 2, 2025
- Fixed some crafting recipes being able to bypass component limits via craft max button
- Fixed the Woodwork mech set showing up as grey
- Seed Extractor II can now properly be accessed from behind
- Fixed crash that could happen when joining a multiplayer session
- Fixed issue where the Exofarmer could sometimes get stuck in a seated position outside the mech, unable to move.
