Little Witch in the Woods update 5.4.4.0 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Little Witch in the Woods patch notes, the latest update 5.4.4.0 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Little Witch in the Woods patch 5.4.4.0 will fix a few of these issues.

Scenario
- Fixed a bug where the cutscene looked awkward when moving to [Green Forest Plains] on a broom during the Mimic Jelly tutorial [Break the blobs] quest
- Adjusted so that if a day passes during the Mimic Jelly tutorial [Break the blobs] quest, the ‘Retrieve Rubrum’s Little Pie’ objective is removed

- Fixed an issue where, while redrawing erased witch sigils with Witch’s Chalk, if you were forced into sleep at a specific timing, only the chalk would be consumed and the sigil would not be drawn
- Fixed an issue where the image for the Fast Oak Broom was displayed as the image for the Sturdy Oak Broom
Major Known Issues Being Addressed
- Issue where the <Candy Delivery Rank Test – Beginner> quest cannot be completed
- Bug where Ellie can get stuck and be unable to escape in the Starlit Cave puzzle scene
- Bug where the Quill does not appear during the first Quill tutorial
- Bug where pressing the start menu and rapidly tapping buttons causes controls to freeze after loading
- Issue where certain resident quests do not progress or complete
- Issue where controls may become unresponsive when attempting to open the UI while interacting with objects.
- A memory leak issue has been identified in the game engine’s physics system.
This issue will be resolved in the next update through an engine version upgrade.
