Madden 18 update 1.09 is now available for download on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the Madden 18 1.09 patch notes, this update includes gameplay fixes and AI improvements. Gameplay
- Substantial reduction to fake-outs for user-controlled defenders when defending ball-carrier special moves.
- Slight reduction to fake-outs for AI-controlled defenders when defending ball-carrier special moves.
- Madden 18 version 1.09 fixed an issue that was causing some AI-controlled ball carriers to move slowly and/or not perform special moves.
- Madden 18 1.09 also brings tuning to decrease the range of width on kickoffs to address the kickoff exploit that could force returners out of bounds inside their own 5-yard line.
