Monster Train 2 update 2.0.4 is now available to download on PC. According to the official Monster Train 2 patch notes, the latest update 2.0.4 addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 2.0.4 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Monster Train 2 version 2.0.4 will fix a few of these issues.

Monster Train 2 Patch Notes 2.0.4 – February 10, 2026
- Fixed slowdown when using Boilerplate equipment with a lot of Forge Points.
- Fixed an undo failure related to rapidly ending your turn before all of a played card’s triggers fire, most commonly seen with Wurmkin.
- Fixed Smelt effects sometimes softlocking card selection when recast by Echo Vault and playing with a controller or keyboard.
- Updated Mollis Soul to no longer be attachable to cards unless they directly apply Status Effects.
- Fixed a few typos.
