Only Climb Better Together update 1.0.2.1 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Only Climb Better Together patch notes, the latest update 1.0.2.1 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Only Climb Better Together patch 1.0.2.1 will fix a few of these issues.

Only Climb Better Together Patch 1.0.2.1 Notes – August 14, 2023
- Voice Chat has been added, allowing players to communicate in real-time.
- New Emotes have been added.
- The user interface has been redone for improved usability.
- A new networking system has been implemented.
- Game sessions are no longer region-locked, allowing players to connect from anywhere.
Bug fixes include:
- Character controls have been improved for easier obstacle climbing.
- Lobby connectivity issues have been fixed.
- Client-side gameplay issues have been resolved, making player movement smoother.
Optimization improvements include:
- Big optimization work has been done on the classic map for better performance on low-end computers. Players can adjust “View distance” and “Post Process Quality” to the lowest settings for optimal results.
- Fewer freezes occur when looking up with “View distance” set to the minimum.
- The game now runs smoother with fewer freezes and stutters.
- The game now takes up less space on players’ drives.
