Check out more details below.
Over The Top: WWI Patch 1.9 Notes – March 10, 2026
– Added a button and UI to quick-mute nearby players. Press L to bring it up, then select the player you want to mute, click on it and nuke their mic.
– Added tooltips to the left side of the screen to inform players of important keybinds.
– Changed the font on the compass UI to make it more readable against bright backgrounds.
– Implemented additional security to hopefully prevent players from creating engineer constructibles near spawnpoints and blocking them off.
– Increased explosive damage absorption on floors and other objects, so that explosions are less likely to kill through solid objects. (Singleplayer only for now)
– Fixed an exploit allowing players to plan machine guns on ceilings and shoot through the terrain.
– The Vsync setting was returned from the void and should work again.
– Made it impossible to shoot flamethrowers when close to walls, hopefully fixing that they could fire through walls by clipping them through it.
– Made a controller sub category for controls to easier and faster access these settings.
– Updated the occlusion culler in an attempt to fix popping of objects and players
– Added the following Translations: Ukrainian, Indonesian, Thai
– Fixed various UI scaling issues on wide screens.
– The matchmaker now prefers lower ping servers.
– Fixed profanity filter, it will now work better with short strings and bad characters.
– Fixed text filter, it will now properly filter weird chat messages.
– I don’t even remember anymore what else I did. It was a bunch of small fixes and UI changes. I am running on coffee and prayers.
– Updated Somme Map to make it easier for attackers to attack.
