Prospector: The First Contract update 0.4.10-17is now available to download on PC. According to the official Prospector: The First Contract patch notes, the latest update 0.4.10-17addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 0.4.10-17added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Prospector: The First Contract version 0.4.10-17will fix a few of these issues.

Improvements
- Increased the time tutorial messages are on screen by 2x
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where Ophelia could invalidly walk over water and over cliffs while carrying the player
- Fixed an issue where players would get stuck easily on cliffs
- Fixed an issue where the Habitat would go missing and crash the game
- Fixed an issue with the terrain loader loading invalid tile data
- Fixed an issue where various save data would not be carried over between sessions
