Sengoku Dynasty update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Sengoku Dynasty patch notes, the latest update 1.2.0.3 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Sengoku Dynasty patch 1.2.0.3 will fix a few of these issues.

Sengoku Dynasty Patch 1.2.0.3 Notes – March 23, 2026
- Fixed client sometimes losing attack input after performing a sprint attack
- Fixed an issue where inputs could be lost when moving during axe use
- Fixed Hachiman and Tenjin icons and costs
- Fixed an issue where Sakura weapon recipes were available in villager workplaces and when using the “all recipes unlocked” setting
- Fixed an issue where loading a save could reset the resource counter for the next bell tower upgrade
- Fixed Iron Ore Mining Post Special Project losing its SP definition
- Fixed an issue where items could be incorrectly assigned as tools in production slots. For existing saves, setting up production anew will apply the fix.
- Fixed missing notification when a bell tower upgrade fails due to radius overlap
- Fixed bell tower upgrade ghost appearing after save/load without player interaction
- Fixed tower bells after tier 1 not loading due to villagers not existing yet
- Fix edge case when Road to Renewal is not visible in Completed Quests tab
NPCs
- Fixed an issue where NPC traders at Trade Village Structures had a visual gap in their feet mesh
- Fixed an issue where female bounty hunter clothing could appear invisible
- Fixed an issue where NPC clothing could reset for clients
- Fixed an issue where NPCs could fall through sloped terrain after player teleportation
Buildings
- Fixed an issue where animal spawners could overlap with player villages
- Fixed an issue where NPCs or animals could spawn on top of some Special Projects and Large Wells
- Fixed an issue where the wrong statue was required when rebuilding ruined Tenjin and Hachiman shrines on the Archipelago
- Fixed an issue with the position of SP signposts
Visuals & Environment
- Fixed an issue where enemies could appear without visible weapons after teleporting behind them
- Fixed issues with snow appearing incorrectly on several buildings
- Fixed an issue with furniture grid alignment in the workshop
- Fixed issues with exterior door setup
- Fixed missing physics on Legendary Hammer threads
- Fixed an issue where the Erythryna Variegata model changed after being cut
- Fixed seasonal effects (including snow) appearing on Archipelago plants
- Fixed duplicated Yuzu trees
- Fixed issues with abatis set meshes
- Fixed incorrect materials on barrels in neutral villages
- Fixed misplaced decorations on Watchtowers in Iwasaki
- Fixed an issue where caged animals were missing in some Random Encounters, which could cause animals to spawn inside player villages
- Removed the option to change materials for empty exterior build previews
Combat
- Fixed incorrect NPC root motion prediction for clients
- Fixed advanced dash root motion
- Fixed bear hit animations
- Fixed an issue where raiders could spawn outside the playable area near the Archipelago Pier
UI
- Fixed an issue where player nicknames were not visible for clients
- Fixed an issue where rename popup buttons didn’t gray out during the delay
- Fixed issues with gamepad navigation in the fast travel list
Others
- Disable tense winter music on archipelago
- Fixed an issue where enemies could stop reacting to clients when the host teleports multiple times quickly
- Fixed multiple minor localization issues
- Fixed out-of-memory crashes on Xbox Series S
- Fixed crashes caused by old input system mapping
