A new Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon update 1.21 released on PC. According to the official Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon patch notes, the latest update 1.21 addresses some bugs and crashes.
Since the last patch, players are experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon patch 1.21 will fix a few of these issues.

Gameplay
- Mana shield to mana regen penalty changed to a 2:1 ratio, making it less harsh. Example: at 100% mana shield, your mana regen will decrease by 50% (previously 100%).

- New weapons added
- Inlaid Shield – Increases Attack Speed by 10%. Increases Max Stamina by 5. Added in the in Capital City
- Splitter Axe – Deals up to 100% more damage based on enemy’s missing Health. In a new abandoned camp in Capital City
- Iron Morningstar – Increases Crit Damage by 20%. Added near Frozen Lake
- Royal Edict – Hitting a target has a 10% chance to Stun it. Added in Gunnvaldr Village
- Winding Dagger – Critical Hits make your target Bleed. Added in Foredweller Area
- Improved cliffs and terrain around Capital City, Ulfr Village and Mountains Stronghold

- Updated Mana Shield keyword to clearly state it does not decrease Mana Regeneration when outside of combat
- Tooltips will now be shown for buffs and relics that are applied on items

- Added a map legend with currently displayed map markers
- Fixed enemy display name, if current target does not have set name. Previously it was showing last target name, now will be empty
- Removed HP bar status animation when status is not active
Audio
- Added stronger parry/blocking/pommel sound effects to all weapons
- reworked sound effects for swimming, jumping and landing
System
- File verification can now be ignored if it fails the second time per patch. You should check your RAM for issues though
- Shader Preloading will only be attempted once. So if it was causing you to be stuck in infinite crash loop the second launch should skip this step
- Added progress bar to steam cloud sync
Misc
- Fixed a duplicated Favorite prompt appearing in the equipment selection view.
- Fixed Stamina usage for the Drowned Sailor Elite in Sarras Chapel
- Removed compass UI while lockpicking
- Fixed gamepad icons in cloud save conflict popup
- Fixed dialogue with Ughwe where the player could mention Conchur by name without having learned it.
- Fixed an issue that allowed multiple completions of the Bring Home My Heart quest.
- Fixed item selection in identify screen
- Quiver is now hidden when equipped with conflicting armor.
