Vampires: Bloodlord Rising update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Vampires: Bloodlord Rising patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Vampires: Bloodlord Rising patch will fix a few of these issues.

Gameplay & Player Experience
- Fixed an issue where player-equipped items could disappear when equipping new items in stacks.
- Fixed an issue where drinking blood from villagers would incorrectly increase Wealth instead of decreasing it.
World, NPCs & Immersion
- Fixed spots in the opening sequence where players could leave the intended path and fail objectives.
- Fixed gaps between lava and rocks in Hells Chasm that allowed flying under the map in Bat Form.
- Fixed an issue where players could crouch below river surfaces and see floating assets and riverbed splines.
- Fixed issues with stationary NPCs falling below the map.
- Fixed delayed transformation animations playing on distant NPCs.
- Fixed Fire Crystal resource spawn positions so they no longer appear inside lava chasms.
- Replaced old swamp rocks and cliffs with new assets and fixed map holes.
- Updated the swamp ruins to a new version.
Vampire Servants & Castle Management
- Fixed grass appearing on buildables when construction was completed by a vampire servant.
- Fixed an issue where vampires could teleport onto buildables and get stuck.
- Fixed coffins built earlier not counting toward quest progression.
- Fixed an issue where vampire servants would not place crafted tools into storage after finishing crafting.
UI, Controls
- Fixed missing skill descriptions for the Enchanter skill at levels 25 and 70.
- Fixed mouse sensitivity resetting every time the player returned to the game.
- Fixed incorrect inventory information displayed for the Infinity Elixir.
- Fixed an always-visible selection frame on the Resume and Singleplayer tabs.
- Added a subtle, always-visible loading spinner to the initial loading screen to indicate progress.
- Fixed missing Take / Collect localization on lootable items.
Quality of Life
- Added save support for destructible stone walls.
Visuals & Animation
- Fixed vampire servant hair clipping through outfits in singleplayer mode.
- Fixed missing collision on a house chimney in Medresti Village.
- Fixed oversized collision on birch trees.
Multiplayer
- Fixed issues with joining multiplayer sessions.
- Fixed Bat Form input and camera issues on the first transformation after joining a session.
- Fixed an issue where the biting animation was not playing for the host’s character on non-owned clients.
- Added a fix to ensure outpost foliage appears correctly for late joiners.
- Fixed an issue where players did not receive damage from Silver Veil.
- Fixed an issue where turned villagers (vampires) could appear stuck or floating for players in multiplayer.
Controller / Gamepad
- Fixed the item window not being visible in the trade screen when using a controller.
- Fixed an issue where equipped items could disappear when equipping new ones while using a controller.
Stability & Technical Fixes
- Fixed issues with the Awaken Reveka objective progression.
- Fixed issues with the Build the Stronghold objective progression.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck under stairs after transforming from Bat Form.
Known Issues
- Vampires or villagers may occasionally have pathfinding or navigation issues.
- In rare cases, animals may become stuck inside environment geometry (walls, rocks, terrain).
Multiplayer
- Management tab data (Kingdom, Stations, Coffins) may be inconsistent between host and clients.
- Vampires may appear stuck, frozen, or suspended mid-air for clients while working correctly for the host.
- In multiplayer, vampires assigned to guard a Stronghold may briefly behave erratically instead of moving to their guard position.
