Vital Shell update 1.0.1.5 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Vital Shell patch notes, the latest update 1.0.1.5 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Vital Shell patch 1.0.1.5 will fix a few of these issues.

Vital Shell Patch 1.0.1.5 Notes – January 25, 2026
- Burn damage is now distributed across 3 ticks instead of 4
- Burn damage tick speed has been increased
- The detail page for Volatile Shell now lists all bonus grants, accessed by clicking the protocol on the equipment panel
- Treasure Hunter now additionally awards a free reroll in Battle mode, having Treasure Hunter III adds 3 free rerolls to every run (Challenge mode is still locked at 10 rerolls)
- Added a restart button to the pause menu
