VTube Studio update 1.29.0 is now available to download on PC. According to the official VTube Studio patch notes, the latest update 1.29.0 addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 1.29.0 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s VTube Studio version 1.29.0 will fix a few of these issues.

VTube Studio Patch 1.29.0 Notes – July 17, 2024
- Support for the Live2D Cubism Editor API. This allows VTube Studio to directly send tracking data into the Live2D Cubism Editor. This makes it much easier for model riggers to test physics setups without repeatedly exporting the model.
- Added tooltips to some of the main menu options and config options. Tooltip coverage will be expanded in the future to hopefully make the UI a little less confusing.
- Fix for issue where VTS watermark would show up even when DLC was purchased.
- API: New API for controlling post-processing effects.
- Emote-Dropper: Support for renamed emotes.
- Many smaller bugfixes.
