Xenonauts 2 update 6.28.0is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Xenonauts 2 patch notes, the latest update 6.28.0added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.

Xenonauts 2 Patch 6.28.0Notes – December 15, 2025
- Fixed a lot of crashes related to our increased error-detection in 6.27.0 Experimental being too strong and detecting false positives. This should hopefully fix all the crashes in parts of the game that were working fine in the previous build.
- Fixed a genuine crash related to constructing base buildings that could occur in some rare circumstances.
