Desktop Defender update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Desktop Defender patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Desktop Defender patch will fix a few of these issues.

Desktop Defender Patch Notes – November 9, 2025
- Added the ability to move between menus through hotkeys assigned to digits 0-9
- Added the ability to exit any menu by using the “Esc” key
- Fixed bug that caused some players to have the game unfocus the game window of a second game if they were playing one at the same time as Desktop Defender
- Added a health bar to bosses
- Added the ability to drag loot on the ground
- Fixed bug that caused the level 49 damage bonus not to apply
- Increased the max number of VFX particles
